Charmax is dedicated to preserving the environment. Charmax in particular out maximum effort into considering the environment through all their practices. For example:

• All cleaning products by Charmax are derived from natural and renewable sources such as corn husk, citrus oils, calcite salts and silicates.

• Charmax save plastic by re-filling all of our product containers from bulk sources

• Charmax is dedicated to recycling all waste paper, glass, plastic and aluminium responsibly via collection systems in all Charmax offices, workshops and stores.

• Charmax is committed to the eradication of cleaning products which damage the environment such as CFC's and harmful bi-products.

 

We have produced a Quality Management System in compliance with Quality Assurance Accreditation to ISO 9001:2000 Certificate No: QEC20438 with SAI Global. However, there are exclusions of 7.3 – Design and development and 7.6 – Control of monitoring and measuring devices which have no impact on the operations of Charmax Property Maintenance Pty Ltd.

Our company is a member of the Australian Building Services Association.

Charmax is an accredited service provider with Sydney Water & SUEZ Environnement Australia.

We have a $20 million public liability cover with the CGU Insurance Australia.

We have unlimited workers compensation insurance cover with GIO Insurance Australia.

All Charmax cleaners are members of the LHMWU and are paid in accordance with the NSW Cleaning and Building Services Contractors State Award.

 

Account Management

Charmax maintains a quality of work via a three tier account management program. A weekly visit by your site supervisor (outside of office hours). A weekly visit by your Account Manager. They are responsible for the day to day operations of the site. Their contact details will be forwarded to you on acceptance of proposal. The account manager reports directly to the Managing Director. All relevant concerns are raised at the monthly management meeting.

 

Inspection Reports

Charmax uses a quality control inspection report that has been developed to comply with our Quality Assurance Accreditation. When completed, a copy of the report will be forwarded to our client, the employees concerned and our head office.

 

Quality Review Meeting

With nominated personnel and at a regular frequency suggested by the Client, Charmax management will attend to discuss all concerns or queries. A copy of the latest inspection report will be tabled for discussion. The clients’ personnel will be informed of upcoming periodical work and any relevant concerns indicated by Charmax staff.

 

Communication

A Communication book will be made available to the clients and Charmax staff. This book acts as a total form of communication encompassing service and access difficulties, areas of concern to a maintenance register for Charmax staff. Eg: Electrical or Plumbing faults. The location of this book is to be advised by the client.

Liaison between Charmax staff and their supervisors / management is given high priority. Charmax staff are instructed not to communicate day to day concerns to the client except on occasions of emergency or imperative nature.

 

Security Procedures

All Charmax staff will be trained to operate your security system, card and key access. Nominated staff will be made available for the client induction if required.

 

Working With Children

A Working With Children Check is one of the tools utilised by the company to ensure safe practices are in order prior to commencing services. Relief Staff and Transition Charmax engages highly trained staff to use as replacements in case of sickness, annual leave or other unforeseen circumstances. Charmax will ensure all relief staff are trained in site procedure. In the case of staff change, your supervisor will be totally and physically committed to the replaced staff for a period of ten working days to ensure a smooth transition.

 

Extraordinary Events

Eg: Blackouts, Lockouts, Breakdowns and Accidents. Charmax staffs are instructed to advise management immediately. We will organise staff to carry out services immediately after the problem has been resolved.

 

Uniforms and Identification

All cleaning staff wear the supplied uniform with Charmax Property Maintenance embroided for easy identification. All staff wear appropriate PPE for your site and carry identification whilst on site.

 

Machinery and Chemicals

All electrical machinery used by Charmax is tested and tagged by certified personnel. All chemicals used by Charmax are manufactured by reputable chemical producers and all are supplied with First Aid instructions. Material Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals are supplied to our clients via a site file.

Client Service Plan

The Charmax approach to service delivery is based on understanding the client's needs and developing a Client Service Plan that meets all aspects of the client's requirements. Charmax aim to deliver quality services that generate cost savings through consistent comprehensive account management.
